Marshfield Village Hall was opened in 1978 by councillor A. E. Hames, Mayor of Newport.
‘Marshfield Village Hall’ is a registered charity (no. 509170). The charity trustees comprise elected members and representatives from the user groups and
the community council. The trustees are all volunteers and form a Management Committee whose aim is to provide our community with a village hall which supports
village events and groups.
The running of the village hall, as it is a charity is reliant on fundraising through the Fete and other events, revenue from regular user groups, private party bookings and yearly applications to Marshfield Community Council.
